On April 15th, 1987, a Wednesday night, 17 year old Leanne Green was finishing work at as a hostess at the Holiday Inn, located off HWY 46 near Fabric Road in Dickson, TN. Her shift ended at around 9:00pm and her twin brother, Lawson, picked her up. He had borrowed their cousins 1979 Monte Carlo. Only a half mile in to the ride home the car ran out of gas, Lawson was unaware that the gas gauge was broken. A car with a family of four coming home from church, pulled up behind the pair to see if they needed help. Lawson agreed to go with the friendly family to get gas just down the road. Leanne, wasn't comfortable leaving with strangers so she decided to stay in the car. The group left to get gas, through the fog and rain Lawson and the family could still see the headlights of the Monte Carlo while at the gas station. They returned about 9 minutes later. Leanne was gone. Her purse and the keys were still in the car. There were no signs of a struggle, a robbery, or Leanne. A search for the teen began almost immediately. To date, no one knows where Leanne Green is. Listen in as we discuss the details of the day she went missing , the search, and possible suspects.
